I knew there had to be something out there that was
retractable or could be raised and lowered due to limited space in the bathroom.
My mom is confined to a wheel chair and due to her right side paralysis and limited space I needed to find something that was moveable. This is installed opposite the toilet and my mom pulls herself up using this and then backs up to the toilet. It then lifts back against the wall. It took her some getting used to but its great.
A little pricy but it works so its worth the money.

The poduct is sturdy, looks nice and seems to work well. However, there were no screws for mounting the bar in the package. So I had to go to the hardware store before our contractor could install it. It is also a fairly expensive product and I thought that at least it should include the screws needed to install it.

This support bar is very sturdy while having a very nice smooth, white finish. I plan to use this bar outside our shower to help with balance problems while exiting the shower. I would have given this item five (5) stars but gave it only four (4) stars as screws were not included to mount the support bar. Therefore, we must supply our own screws and only hope that they are long enough while offering the necessary support.
